About Me: Katya is a born and raised beach girl from Redondo Beach. Since childhood, she’s enjoyed music and moving to it.  Fueled by this love, she began her dance training early, dancing almost as soon as she began walking. She’s gone on to perform in dance competitions and has brought joy to audiences live at the Super Bowl halftime show. A former Soul Train dancer, her love of music and fitness is on full display when she gets on the mic. 

What you love most about teaching at The Studio (MDR): Katya really likes giving people the shakes way more than she likes getting them. But seriously, she really enjoys having the opportunity to engage with so many awesome, strong people and it’s so much fun being able to cheer everyone on while they’re putting in the work.
